Mein Name ist Karin Guill.

Seit über zehn Jahren bin ich mit meiner Familie in Kiel zu Hause. Ich liebe Wind und Wellen und bin gerne im Ruderboot auf der Förde unterwegs. So eine Fahrt im Ruder-, Motor- oder Segelboot kann auch ein Bild für ihr Leben als Paar, Familie oder Individuum sein:

Wohin soll die Fahrt gehen? Welches Werkzeug ist dafür nötig? Wer gehört zur Mannschaft? Und wie arbeitet die Mannschaft zusammen? Womit wird der Tank gefüllt? Und was ist, wenn es einmal stürmisch zugeht?

Das Ziel bestimmen Sie! Als systemische Beraterin unterstütze ich Sie, wieder Wasser unter den Kiel zu bekommen: bei Entscheidungskonflikten, bei beruflichen und privaten Herausforderungen und Veränderungsprozessen, bei Konflikten oder Herausforderungen als Paar oder in der Familie. Gemeinsam schauen wir, wie Sie ihre Stärken einsetzen können, um neue Lösungsansätze zu finden.

Langjährige Arbeit in der Bildungsforschung haben meinen Blick für Muster und Strukturen geschult, was uns helfen kann, Ihre Situation besser zu verstehen. Kreativität und Humor kommen mir bei der Arbeit als Hörspielautorin für die RadioKinderKirche zugute und ich nutze die Kraft von Bildern, Metaphern und Geschichten auch gerne im Beratungsprozess, um mit Ihnen neue Perspektiven zu entwickeln. Meine ehrenamtliche Arbeit in der Suchthilfe hilft mir, auch kleine Veränderungsschritte wertzuschätzen und mit Rückschlägen konstruktiv umzugehen.

My name is Karin Guill.

My family and I have been living in Kiel for over ten years. I love the wind and waves and enjoy rowing on the Kiel Fjord. A trip in a rowing boat, motorboat or sailing boat can also be a metaphor for your life as a couple, family or individual:

Where should the trip take you? What tools do you need? Who is part of the crew? And how does the crew work together? What will fill the tank? And what if the weather turns stormy?

You determine the destination! As a systemic consultant, I support you in getting back on track: in decision-making conflicts, in professional and private challenges and change processes, in conflicts or challenges as a couple or in the family. Together, we will look at how you can use your strengths to find new solutions.

Many years of work in educational research have trained my eye for patterns and structures, which can help us to better understand your situation. Creativity and humour come in handy in my work as a radio playwright for RadioKinderKirche, and I also like to use the power of images, metaphors and stories in the counselling process to develop new perspectives with you. My voluntary work in addiction support helps me to appreciate even small steps towards change and to deal with setbacks constructively.

• Studies in Psychology, Theology, and Philosophy in Berlin, Cologne, and Bonn, Degrees: Diplom degree in Psychology (Master’s equivalent), Magistra Artium in Theology
• Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Educational Science from the Institute for School Development Research in Dortmund
• Research Officer / Scientific Advisor at the administrative office of the Standing Scientific Commission (SWK) of the Conference of Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs
• Volunteer work in addiction support
